Complete guide for scheduling - before an event

Planning is Key

When it comes to achieving radiant and glowing skin for a special event, planning and timing are key. It's important to allow enough time for your skin to recover after certain treatments while also ensuring that you can enjoy the full benefits of the treatment or products during the big day.

Understanding the potential of post procedure side effects is crucial to planning and scheduling. Some treatments have the risk of temporary bruising, redness, and swelling after the procedure. Additionally, Botox® takes time for the product to take effect. Being aware of these factors allows us to plan and schedule your treatments effectively for optimal results. Our guide takes all of this into account, ensuring your skin has the sufficient time to heal and/or benefit from these treatments before your event.

Trialing treatments

If you are attending a special occasion such as a wedding, where photos will be taken and shared for years to come, we will always advise trialing certain treatments well in advance of the event. This will help both you and your provider understand how your skin reacts to specific treatments and ensure that there are no unexpected breakouts or reactions. Knowing how your skin will respond to a specific treatment can help us fine tune how we choose to schedule these treatments in order to optimize your results and satisfaction.

To help you plan your skincare routine and treatments effectively, here are some expert scheduling tips:

1-2 Weeks Before Event
Facials

To get the most out of your MicroGenesis Hydrafacial / DermaGenesis Hydrafacial Facials, it's best to schedule them 1-2 weeks before your event. This will give your skin ample time to soak up the benefits of the treatment and achieve the stunning results you desire.

Pro Tips:

  • Remember to space out your facial treatments and injectable treatments for optimal outcomes
  • Facials or peels are one of those treatments we recommend trialing before an event
2-4 Weeks Before event
Botox®/Neuromodulators

For the best results, it is recommended to schedule your Botox® treatments 2-3 weeks before your event. It typically takes around 10-14 days for Botox to fully take effect, so planning ahead will ensure that you achieve the desired outcome. This timeframe also provides an opportunity for any touch-ups to be done during your 2 week follow-up appointment, guaranteeing that you achieve the most personalized and perfect result for your skin.

Dermal Fillers

If you're considering Dermal Filler treatments, it's optimal to schedule them at least two weeks prior to your event. This time frame allows ample time for any potential swelling and/or bruising to resolve, guaranteeing that you will radiate confidence and look your absolute best.

Laser or Technology treatments

To ensure your skin looks its absolute best, it's recommended to schedule laser and technology treatments 3-4 weeks before your big event. This allows ample time for your skin to heal and achieve a radiant glow that will make you shine.

Emsculpt

To maximize the effectiveness of Emsculpt treatments, it is advisable to schedule them 4 weeks in advance of your event. This time frame allows for the completion of all necessary treatment sessions, ensuring that you have ample time to achieve the desired results and truly shine on your special day.

2-4 Months Prior to Event
Skincare

Start your skincare routine 2-4 months before the event. This gives your skin time to adapt to the new routine and allows you to see the best results from your day-to-day efforts.

Coolsculpting

Coolsculpting treatments should be scheduled 3 months before your event. This time frame allows for recovery from the treatment as well as ample time for the results to take effect.

4+ Months Before Event
Ultherapy

For Ultherapy, it's best to book 3-6 months in advance. This non-invasive treatment has a gradual onset, and it takes time for the results to be fully achieved.

By following these expert scheduling tips and planning ahead, you can ensure that your skin is glowing and radiant for your upcoming event. Don't hesitate to give us a call, and we'll work our magic to pre-book your appointments. Your radiant skin awaits!
