Dr. Rosen is a board certified dermatologist who completed his five year dermatology residency at McGill University, where he graduated in Clinical Medicine. He spent an additional year of fellowship training at the New York Laser and Skin Care Clinic in Manhattan, one of the industry’s most highly regarded programs, where he received a certified fellowship in procedural dermatology from the American College of Graduate Medical Education. This fellowship training combines laser surgery, cosmetic procedures and MOHS micrographic skin cancer surgery.
Dr. Rosen is recognized as one of the industry’s leading authorities in laser surgery and aesthetic medicine. He has served as an advisor for Sciton Laser and as an advisor and physician trainer for Palomar Medical Technologies Inc. An expert in Botox Cosmetic® and Juvederm® and Restylane® dermal fillers, Dr. Rosen has lectured and instructed other physicians in these techniques nationwide on behalf of Allergan Inc. and Medicis Canada Inc., the industry’s leading manufacturers of cosmetic injectables, and serves on Allergan’s Aesthetics Advisory Board and as Education Co-editor for Allergan’s aesthetic education website, FACEINSTITUTE.ca.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Rosen provides expertise as a surgical consultant at the Juravinski Cancer Center in Hamilton and as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at McMaster University and co-founded the Dermetics Training Academy, a partnership with Family Physicians to help deliver the best skin care for the community. Dr. Rosen has also served as an investigator on a number of clinical trials to establish the safety and effectiveness of cosmetic treatments and devices and continues to lend his skills and expertise to the research and development of new and improved treatments and techniques within the industry.
